Ole Miss/ Father's Day Socks

Thanks to morning sickness I wasn’t able to finish the Father’s Day socks I was making for my father-in-law. Thankfully we had more exciting news for him and he was perfectly happy to hear about his first grandchild so he didn’t even realize he didn’t get a physical gift.

I did however finish the socks in time for him to wear them while he recovered from his knee surgery.

Since he is a big Ole Miss fan, Vince wanted me to make his dad Ole Miss socks like the ones I had made him. I would have done this but I was very disappointed in the yarn I used for those socks, it bleeds every time I wash them or they get sweaty.

So I got some yarn Stroll Sock Yarn in colors Sapphire Heather and Firecracker Heather.

I also like that these socks are a bit subtler since I don’t think his dad would have worn more funky socks.
