Quick Oats Sweater

I must admit… I have a problem with yarn.

I can’t resist buying or acquiring new yarn.

In my defense… I use the yarn.

Sunday after church, Vince’s mom asked if I wanted some yarn she had. She got it but it turned out it was really hard/impossible for her to crochet with it.

It was Lion Brand Homespun.
I thought it was going to be mostly brown, but there was some pretty blue mixed in.

I have used the yarn before but typically don’t buy it for myself.  It doesn’t look like it but it is “fuzzy” and it can be annoying to knit with sometimes, it turns out this is also the reason Vince’s mom didn’t like crocheting with it.

Even so, it came home with us and I started a sweater with it. The sweater was supposed to fit 0-3 months and be for Isaac.  Turns out the weight must not have been right or something because it is too big for a 0-3 month old. It also turned out looking too girly to dress Isaac in, at least according to Vince.

Oh well, it is still a cute little sweater.

The pattern is Quick Oats by Taiga Hilliard Designs.
