Striped Longies

I was looking for a new quick knitting project and my friend suggested a pair of baby longies. She had made tons of them over the past few years for her little boy. She made them because she cloth diapered him. She told me not only were they quick and easy she knew whenever I have kids I’ll cloth diaper so making a few pairs wouldn’t be a waste.

I used Patons Classic Wool Roving in Pacific Teal and Aran (I think). The pattern was from Pimp My Longies.

I added a cord just incase its ever needed.

About to start the gusset

I love the look of the stripes, but I must admit... they aren't even. I seem to have miscounted a few places and the stripes are varying sizes, oh well. 

Almost finished with the first leg.

I really love this pattern and they turned out so cute. (So cute I made a few more pairs, I'll post those later)
