Arkansas Razorback Tiny Pants

I recently found a new pattern for baby pants. I love the longie pattern I was using but I needed something that used less yarn.

After some searching I found one that used less yarn and was quick and simple. I love simple.

The pattern is Tiny Pants by Megan Goodacre, and I used my go-to wool, Patons’ Classic Wool Roving.

I changed the pattern a bit; I used size US 6 for the ribbed part and size US 8 for the rest. Mainly the change was because I didn’t have size US 7 needles that would work.

I made the first pair in the smaller size in all red.

Then I made a second pair in the bigger size. This one is where I tried to get creative.
I used mostly red, but added a white Razorback on the bottom.

Vince got his Ole Miss Longies, I had to make something for Arkansas.

The pattern for the Razorback comes from Arkansas Razorback Go Hogs Dishcloth by DeAnza Jig.

Unfortunately the pattern for the Razor back was intended to be done in purl stitches and every other row, so the poor thing is a bit skinny.

I might have to try again because it would be so cute if it worked.
