Beginning the Guest Room Remodel

When I first moved my mother and I decorated this room with furniture and spare art from her house. I wish I had gotten a picture! It looked great! The idea was she thought she would come to visit a lot so she rather the furniture be in my guestroom so she would get to use it. It worked out well that is till her house fire. She now needed furniture and didn’t visit as often.  I was all too happy to return the bedroom furniture…after all it was hers. By the time she came to collect the furniture, Vince and I had decided we would stay in this house for a few years instead of moving somewhere neither of us really wanted to live, see The Beginning
So the only thing to do was redecorate!
It gave us the opportunity to rearrange the whole house to fit us as a couple, not just me. Also when I decorated the house I had every intention of renting it out for football games, not only did this not happen, it will not be happening anytime soon. This will be our first house, the house we start our lives together in, the house we start our family in, hopefully.
We are now left with a clean slate.
The Plan:
1.     Paint the walls blue
2.     Fix the closet door that keeps breaking….
3.     Move the queen size bed out of office into here

4.     Move the headboard, draperies, and matching chair from master bedroom
5.     Find nightstands
6.     Redecorate office and master bedroom, YAY!

(I am actually a little embarrassed to show the before pictures, but it will hopefully make the after pictures so much better)
